Excellent house in a peaceful area, Lustica
This lovely property spreads over 200 sq meters and is arranged over 3 levels with a garden and gated parking spaces.
Four tastefully decorated bedrooms can accommodate up to 8 guests in two double and two twin bedrooms. The rooms are spacious, filled with natural light, each with built-in wardrobes and air-conditioned. The bathrooms are modern with plenty of storage one on each level of the house.
Comfortable, double aspect living room is on the ground floor. It has a wide screen TV with satellite channels available and the villa also has free WIFI access.
There is a large, open plan kitchen-dining room on the ground floor. The modern kitchen offers all contemporary amenities, with plenty of cupboard and workspace. There are doors leading to a garden with a large table for al-fresco dining and a barbecue.
Villa is in an idyllic, rural location in quiet neighbourhood of a small village of Tici on the southern side of Lustica peninsula. Whole area is peaceful and tranquil with rolling hills, olive groves and magnificent views. It’s a good base to come back to while exploring Montenegro as even the most remote parts of the country are no more than couple of hours away.
Lustica is still one of the relatively untouched parts of Montenegrin coast and on it’s southern side there are beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters. It is perfect for nature lovers, hikers, joggers and cyclists.
The house is located within an easy reach of many beautiful beaches on the Luštica peninsula with their restaurants and bars. Mirista and Zanjice are the closest, accessible by bike or a car or, if you are a walking enthusiast, there is a footpath 1.2km (less than a mile). At the tip of the peninsula there is Rose, the fishing village with popular seafood restaurants and to the other side an unusual rocky beach of Veslo and the upmarket beach resort Oblatno. Sandy beach of Plavi horizonti is popular with parents and younger children. Bikes and quadbikes are also available for rent nearby.
Wine and olive oil is available from locals and supermarkets within in 20 mins and 30 mins drive from the village. There is also a van that stops very near the house every morning with fruit, vegetables and basics. Across the road, our neighbours own the first organic olive grove in Montenegro.
A 30 minute drive will take you to the towns of Tivat or Kotor and the magnificent Boka Bay. You can reach Herceg Novi, 10 mins by boat from fishing village of Rose. Further away, about an hours drive away is an old town of Budva and beautiful island Sv Stefan. Day trips to Lovcen and the old capital of Cetinje, Dubrovnik in Croatia, Ostrog Monastery are also recommended.
Villa is in rural and quiet location and it is ideal for people looking for a getaway from a busy and stressful life in tranquil scenery, away from the tourist crowds. It is excellent home base to relax or return to each day from exploring this awesome peninsula.
Please note: a car is recommended as there is no public transport in this part of the country.
